Orders

What payment methods do you take?
All the usual ones: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay. If it's a legit way to pay online, it probably works here.

Will I get tracking?
Yes. Tracking lands in your inbox the moment your order ships, so you can refresh it obsessively like the rest of us.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We print fast, which is usually the good news and occasionally the bad news. Once an order's in motion we can't change the address, size, or details. If something's genuinely wrong when it arrives, returns are free and easy and we'll sort you out.

I forgot my discount code. Help?
We can't apply a code after an order's placed, unfortunately. Hang onto it for next time, it'll still be there.

Can I add something to an existing order?
Not to one that's already placed, but starting a second order takes about thirty seconds. Think of it as the extra one you were going to want anyway.
Shipping & Tracking

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, on any order over $75 combined. A good reason to talk yourself into the second shirt.

When will my order ship?
We pack and ship within 2 to 5 business days of your order. During busy stretches, when everyone decides at once that they need new pickleball shirts, it can run a touch longer.

When will it arrive?
Once it ships, usually 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are.

Is checkout secure?
Fully. Encrypted, locked down, none of your details going anywhere they shouldn't. Tighter than your grip on match point.

What if my order's delayed?
Delivery windows are estimates, and once a package is with the carrier it's out of our hands. If something looks stuck, reach out and we'll chase down what we can.
Returns

What's your return policy?
If we sent the wrong item or it showed up damaged or defective, that's on us. Reach out within 30 days of your order and we'll make it right, refund or replacement.

How do I start a return?
Email us at [hi@smashingapparel.com] with your order number and a quick note on what happened. Real people on the other end, and we actually want to help.

A note on made-to-order returns.
Because every piece is printed when you order it, we don't restock returns or take back a shirt that's simply the wrong size if it arrived exactly as ordered. Check the size guide before you buy, and if anything's actually wrong with the product, see above, we've got you.

Where are you based?
North Carolina. Designed here, printed to order here, all in the USA.

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We're US-only for now while we get everything right. International is on the list.
Quality & Materials

What are the shirts made of?
Soft, breathable cotton with a smooth face that holds a print. Solid colors run 100% ring-spun cotton; heathers and specialty shades are a cotton blend, and the exact mix varies by color.

How heavy is the fabric?
Light. Around 4.2 oz, airy and breathable without feeling flimsy, which is what you want mid-rally in July.

How does the fit run?
True to size, unisex, cut like something you'd own regardless of what's printed on it. Relaxed without going shapeless. Between sizes? Size up for room, stay put for a closer line.

Will the print hold up?
Yes, if you treat it kindly. Cold wash, no iron on the print, hang or tumble low. Do that and it holds up for the long haul.

Any other details worth knowing?

  • Tear-away label, nothing to scratch at
  • Side-seamed with a clean, modern drape
  • Holds its shape through the season
  • Prints stay crisp wash after wash
What's with the name?

"Smashing" is a pickleball shot and also what the British say when something goes well. We noticed and couldn't leave it alone.
Do you take design submissions?

We do, actually. Every quarter we open up "Write the Next One" for your best two-layer line. If it clears the bar, we run it with your name on it. Details on the submission page.
Do you restock sold-out designs?

Sometimes. Because we print to order, "sold out" usually means a limited run has closed rather than an empty shelf. Newsletter subscribers hear first if something comes back.
What's the Soft Hands Club?

Buy anything and you're in, no signup required. Members get designs sold only to the Club, colorways nobody else sees first, and early access to new drops. More on the Soft Hands Club page.
Some products don't have an "add to cart" button. Why?

Those are Soft Hands Club exclusives. Make any purchase to join, and the way to buy them lands in your inbox. If you're already a member, check there.
Is it true $1 from every order goes to charity?

Yes. $1 from every order goes back to the courts, split between USA Pickleball Serves and a rotating local program. Every quarter we spotlight where the local portion landed. Consider it a receipt.
How do I find my size?

The size guide has measurements for every size. Since we print to order and can't restock returns, it's worth a look before you buy.
Do the shirts shrink?

Wash cold and tumble low and shrinkage stays minimal. Hot water and high heat are what turn a tee into a crop top, so skip those.
